Within this House is an augmented journey through your mobile device, through the gardens of Temple Newsam, which invites participants on a multi-sensory exploration of Lady Wood’s World War One convalescent hospital, which was situated on the site in 1917. Through immersive binaural audio, emotive text, drawings, and images of Temple Newsam layering together then and now, and visuals from the performance by the same name, the experience offers a reflective and intimate insight into this specific place, from the women’s point of view.
